Bryce Courtenay AM

Author, businessman, speaker, storyteller

Bryce Courtenay is one of Australia's greatest success stories. An internationally acclaimed bestselling author and a businessman, as a speaker and storyteller he has no equal. Through his work and his life, Bryce challenges us all to live our dreams and dares us to "walk in the wildest unknown way".

His first novel, The Power of One, was an international bestseller, and more incredible books followed, including the deeply moving April Fool's Day, Tandia, and of course, The Potato Factory, which is now the highest selling work of fiction in hardback ever published in Australia. Prior to turning his hand to storytelling, Bryce had a much-awarded 34-year career in advertising, and he worked with direct marketing guru Ian Kennedy to produce The Power of One to One, an invaluable business textbook.
