Debbie Kilroy

Debbie Kilroy is the director and founder of Sisters Inside, an organisation that advocates for the human rights of women in the criminal justice system. She has been awarded an Order of Australia medal and a Human Rights Medal, and has degrees in both social work and law.

In December last year she was admitted to practice as a lawyer, a particularly significant achievement given that Debbie has served time in jail for drug trafficking.
